Mortified Ava admits to Olivia that she slept with Bill but Olivia lets of her off the hook. Ava and Olivia scheme to get Gus alone with Olivia. Natalia tries on her wedding dress, and later confronts Olivia about lying to get alone time with Gus.

12.24.07 Christmas Eve
During Christmas shopping at the mall, the alarm goes off, shutting down the gates and locking everyone inside. Gus and Olivia are stuck together, and the two drink champagne and talk. Olivia breaks down in Gus’ arms.
12.19.07 First Christmast Tree
Everything seems to be pushing Natalia’s buttons when the Christmas tree she wants is held for Harley and the fact that Gus sent flowers to Harley for Christmas. Daisy and Rafe get into an argument over Harley and Natalia. Dinah brings Gus and Natalia a Christmas tree and the two make up.
12.18.07 Gus And Natalia’s First Date/Olivia Tells Ava About Her Heart
Gus stops by the hospital while Olivia is waiting to see the doctor and gives her flowers to cheer her up. After Gus leaves for his date with Natalia, Olivia calls Towers and bumps Gus’ reservation. Gus arranges for him and Natalia to have a romantic date set up in a holding cell, just like their childhood. Olivia tells crushed Ava about her heart problem.

12.11.07 You Are a Truly Great Guy
Gus helps Olivia in getting Bill to sign away the paternity rights to Emma. Rafe tells Olivia to stop making moves on Gus. Gus tells Olivia that he is working on moving her up the organ transplant list.
12.07.07 If I Wanted Gus…He’d Be Mine By Now
Natalia tries to find out if Olivia is after Gus but Olivia says that she needs to worry about Harley, not her. Gus tries to come up with ways to move Olivia up the heart transplant list. Natalia’s attempt to make peace with Harley proves futile. Gus promises Natalia that he is only helping Olivia and Emma because of Phillip, but Natalia remains suspicious of Olivia.

12.06.07 No More Waiting…For Anything
Natalia tells Gus that she doesn’t want to wait anymore and wants to get married as soon as possible. Olivia tells Bill to commit to Emma 100% or stay away completely. Gus takes Natalia to Olivia to do the wedding planning, and later accompanies Olivia to see the doctor. Natalia becomes concerned about Olivia’s involvement with Gus, and confronts the other woman.
11.28.07 My Life
Natalia finds Olivia passed out on the floor of her hotel room, and takes her to the hospital. Olivia gets a fatal diagnosis. Facing her own mortality, Olivia tells Alan that she will do what he wants and break up Gus and Natalia as long as he keeps Emma safe.
11.27.07 Would You Give Up Your Last Son
Natalia and Gus break the news of their engagement to Alan who covers his disappointment and plants an obnoxious congratulatory kiss on Natalia. Olivia tries to appeal to Alan to stop breaking up Gus and Natalia in order not to lose his last son, but Alan insists on Olivia sticking to their deal. Olivia almost tells Gus about Alan but holds back. Natalia and Gus are excited about their future, and when Olivia overhears that, she resolves to break the deal with Alan.
11.21.07 Natalia Agrees to Marry Gus
Gus goes to a Thanksgiving at Harley’s and Rafe continues giving him a cold shoulder. Rafe and Natalia do a shift at Towers when Alan swoops in and tries to make the night special for her. Rafe acts out once again and shows up drunk at Harley’s dinner. Natalia overhears Gus talk to Rafe about being hopeful for their future, and decides to say ‘yes’ to his proposal.
