Natalia finds Olivia passed out on the floor of her hotel room, and takes her to the hospital. Olivia gets a fatal diagnosis. Facing her own mortality, Olivia tells Alan that she will do what he wants and break up Gus and Natalia as long as he keeps Emma safe.

11.27.07 Would You Give Up Your Last Son
Natalia and Gus break the news of their engagement to Alan who covers his disappointment and plants an obnoxious congratulatory kiss on Natalia. Olivia tries to appeal to Alan to stop breaking up Gus and Natalia in order not to lose his last son, but Alan insists on Olivia sticking to their deal. Olivia almost tells Gus about Alan but holds back. Natalia and Gus are excited about their future, and when Olivia overhears that, she resolves to break the deal with Alan.
11.21.07 Natalia Agrees to Marry Gus
Gus goes to a Thanksgiving at Harley’s and Rafe continues giving him a cold shoulder. Rafe and Natalia do a shift at Towers when Alan swoops in and tries to make the night special for her. Rafe acts out once again and shows up drunk at Harley’s dinner. Natalia overhears Gus talk to Rafe about being hopeful for their future, and decides to say ‘yes’ to his proposal.
11.20.07 Thanksgiving Blues
Gus asks Natalia to celebrate Thanksgiving together as a family with Rafe. Natalia tells Rafe but later Gus disappoints both of them by asking all of them to go to Harley’s. Rafe lashes out at Gus for leading Natalia on.
11.16.07 I Want You To Want Me Like You Used To
Natalia makes it clear to Gus that until she becomes a bigger part of his heart than Harley, she doesn’t want to be with Gus. Daisy comes to speak to Gus about Rafe. Gus decides that he needs to restore stability in Rafe’s life to stop him from acting out, and wants to give their family with Natalia a chance. Gus proposes to Natalia.
11.14.08 You Are Different
Olivia is surprised and happy to see Bill back, but he puzzles her with his indifferent and disillusioned attitude.
11.13.07 Olivia seeks help with Phillip
Olivia talks to Lizzie about getting a gun to protect her and Emma. They argue over Phillip and whether they are safe if he returns to town. While they argue in the hallway, Bill Lewis sneaks in and drops off a stuff animal for Emma. Not knowing Bill is back in Springfield, and unable to find Gus, Olivia seeks help from Bill’s father, Billy Lewis. Later, Emma shows Olivia the stuffed animal and Olivia is again terrified that Phillip has returned to town.
11.09.07 Alan Terrorizes Olivia
Olivia and Natalia discuss Olivia’s fear of Phillip and her memories of her love for him. Olivia warns Natalia that Gus is still married to Harley and that Natalia’s presence in Springfield is not helping Gus and Harley resolve their marital issues. Alan continues to pressure Olivia to break up Gus and Natalia. Olivia refuses to help Alan. Alan continues to terrorize Olivia by ransacking her room hoping Olivia will think it was the actions of Phillip. Natalia does not allow Gus to annul his marriage to Harley. Natalia explains that Harley is a part of what makes Gus the man he is today and Natalia will not allow an annulment to take that away.
11.08.07 Rafe Shuns Natalia
Natalia tries to get Rafe to talk to Father Ray. Rafe is rude to Father Ray and Natalia. Rafe accuses Natalia of being a hypocrite because she is upset about Rafe and Daisy having sex even though Natalia and Gus has teenage sex. Alan talks to Natalia about Rafe’s bad attitude and tries to assure Natalia that she is not a hypocrite. Gus talks to Zach and Jude about always being there just in a different way and then tells Harley that he can’t go through annulment.
11.02.07 Olivia distracts Gus
Olivia explains to Emma that Phillip is mentally ill and that is why he is not in Emma’s life. Natalia and Alan discuss Rafe’s bad attitude and Gus’ annulment with Harley. Later Alan reminds Olivia to distract Gus so Alan may make a play on Natalia. Gus asks Harley for annulment. Olivia asks Gus to fix her security system and Gus tells Olivia how difficult it is to lose the one person he loves the most in the world – Harley. In the meantime, Alan takes Natalia out to dinner.
