The news of Gus’ accidents spreads. Olivia talks to injured Gus and promises that he saved her. Heart-broken Harley cries over Gus and confesses that he is the love of her life. Natalia prays for Gus, as he is taken to the surgery. Olivia gets a devastating news from Jeffrey that her donor heart went to someone else. Olivia and Buzz share an emotional conversation, and Olivia says goodbye to Ava. Rick tells Harley and Natalia that he wasn’t able to stop Gus’ bleeding and he is just hanging on.

03.28.08 The Only Certainty in Death Is the Uncertainty
Gus makes a memorial dedicated to Olivia. While Olivia is at the hospital, she gets a visit from Josh who gives her some advice and his Bible. Reva and Olivia share a conversation about death, and alone, Olivia makes a plea to God to give her a chance. Rick tells elated Ava and Jeffrey that the hospital got a lead on a heart donor for Olivia. A panicked Ava finds Olivia missing from the hospital and calls Gus who rushes to find Olivia on a motorcycle. At the hospital, everyone is shocked when a trauma victim is wheeled in and it’s Gus.
03.27.09 The Wedding Bells, The Wedding Blues
Olivia gets ready for her wedding to Jeffrey, while Gus shows Natalia a house he bought for her and Rafe. Doris officiates the ceremony and Olivia and Jeffrey get married. Jeffrey, Olivia, Emma, and Ava are celebrating at Company when Olivia heart starts failing and she passes out.
03.26.08 I Just Want Something Pure and Honest
Olivia talks about a dream she has of marrying Gus. Gus promises Natalia that he wants their relationship. Ava and Emma surprise Olivia with a wedding dress. Olivia asks Gus to marry her, and even though it won’t be legal, it will be just for her. Gus lets her down gently and tells her she doesn’t have to wash away her sins, she is perfect the way she is. Away from everyone, Olivia breaks down and Jeffrey offers to marry her to make her dream happen.
03.25.08 Olivia Asks Josh To Marry Her and Gus
Olivia gets inspired by the wedding dress she sees and comes to Josh asking him to marry her and Gus. Olivia breaks down in Jeffrey’s arms.
03.24.08 His Heart Isn’t In It
Olivia asks Ava to take care of Emma for the day because Emma needs to start seeing her as a Mom. Gus tries to smooth things over with Natalia who points out that he doesn’t seem to feel the same way about her as he did about Harley. Olivia tells Natalia to stop holding Gus to a promise they made as kids. Gus helps makes legal arrangements for Olivia. Rafe tells Natalia that he wants to fight for Daisy, and Gus admits to Olivia that while he appreciates what he has with Natalia, it can’t be what he had with Harley. Back at Olivia’s hotel room, Gus and Olivia start passionately kissing.
03.19.08 The World Is Far More Interesting Place with You In It
Olivia and Reva share an emotional conversation when Olivia admits that she is dying. Jeffrey tries to cope with Olivia’s news. Gus finds a trial study in Europe that could help Olivia but Olivia says that she wants to spend the time she has left with her children and Gus. Olivia and Gus kiss again.
03.14.08 I Will Always Be With You
At the nail salon, Olivia tells astounded Ava that she may be has a few weeks left. Olivia and Rick talk about their heart issues and he advises her not to lose hope. Olivia has a talk with Emma and gently tells her that she is sick and there is a chance she may not come back from the hospital. Olivia promises that, even if it happens, she will never leave Emma.
03.13.08 The Woman Inside is Past Saving
Olivia wakes up after a night of drinking with the two guys from Towers and sends them off to Natalia for a “turndown” service. Gus comes by to check on Olivia and when she kisses him, he ends up returning the kiss. Outraged Natalia comes to see Olivia and Olivia tells her that Gus kissed her. Natalia reaches the breaking point and tells Olivia that the deal is off. Despite what Natalia says, Gus stays with Olivia. Olivia breaks down when Gus tells her that according to her doctor, Olivia doesn’t have much time left, and heartbroken Natalia throws out Gus’ belongings from her apartment.
03.12.08 Give Her a Drink and She Loosens Right Up
Natalia runs into Bill when she is cleaning the rooms at the Beacon. Olivia and Dinah share a conversation. Ava finds Olivia drinking and flirting with two guys at Towers, and Olivia admits that Gus hasn’t been returning her calls.
