Olivia is still recovering from her surgery and Natalia takes Emma Halloween costume shopping. Olivia gets Daisy’s message about Rafe getting beaten up and rushes to prison. There she reams the warden out much to Natalia’s horror.

10.28.08 It Was Better Because You Were Here
Olivia feels much better after the surgery and is anxious to leave the hospital to take her meeting with Decker. Natalia objects at first but seeing that it’s important to Olivia, agrees to help her attend the meeting. Rafe asks Natalia not to visit him today, hiding the fact that he’s been badly beaten up in prison. Natalia sends Daisy to see Rafe. Olivia is upset when she realizes that Natalia missed a visitor’s day but is grateful for Natalia being there to help.

10.22.08 You’Re A Freaking Superhero
Saved by Remy and Natalia, Olivia comes to in the hospital. Natalia agrees to back Olivia up while she is having a pacemaker procedure done. Seeing that Natalia is nervous, Olivia insists that Natalia can do it and she is a “freaking superhero” for raising her son on her own. Natalia promises to make Olivia proud as she steps into Olivia’s shoes at the Beacon.

Rick tries to get Olivia to check into Cedars as soon as possible but she is stalling. Natalia and Olivia argue over Olivia not taking her health seriously and Olivia asks for Natalia’s help at the Beacon. Frustrated by Natalia’s lack of confidence, Olivia goes off on her and suddenly collapses.

10.10.08 Hope It’s Not a Preminition
Overwhelmed by Decker’s request to go on a business trip to Hong Kong, Olivia calls Natalia for help. Natalia helps Olivia pack but when Decker arrives, Olivia realizes she is too weak to go through with it. Natalia suggests an idea of teleconferencing Olivia in on all the meetings in Hong Kong, and Decker goes for it. Natalia takes Olivia to Cedars where after running some tests Rick has some serious news for Olivia.
10.06.08 No Poaching…She Is Mine
After finding Olivia plastered on the bed in one of the hotel rooms, Natalia realizes that Olivia is too exhausted from the photoshoot and decides to help her boss. Natalia charms Decker with her professionalism and Olivia is surprised and grateful. Later, inspired Olivia suggests that Natalia work for her but the communication wires between the two women cross once again.

At the hearing, everyone testifies on Rafe’s behalf. Natalia is heartbroken when Rafe gets full two years and is taken away. At Company, Olivia silently sympathizes Natalia and Emma tries to cheer Natalia up. Olivia heads to a photoshoot for her Galaxy Hotels spokesperson job.

10.02.08 Rafe Takes A Plea Bargain
Rafe and Natalia meet with a public defender who recommends a plea bargain and eighteen months in jail. Desperate Natalia demands that Olivia reaches Russo again – she is willing to do whatever to keep her son out of jail. Buzz visits Rafe and indicates that Natalia is ready to do the things she might regret later on, just to help Rafe. Rafe decides to take a plea bargain.
