Olivia and Frank talk in the park. When Natalia is not feeling well again, Blake wonders if there is a possibility that Natalia might be pregnant. Olivia steals Natalia away from Blake so that they can go bake the 4th of July rice crispies with Emma. While shopping for supplies, Natalia grabs a home pregnancy test. Olivia tells Phillip that her and Natalia will be moving forward as a couple and Phillip is supportive. Natalia takes a pregnancy test and is anxiously waiting for the results.

06.29.09 Blake Wonders If Natalia is Pregnant
Natalia continues not to feel well and has no idea what could be wrong with her. Father Ray stops by to pick up the cookies Natalia made for the church and suggests that maybe Natalia’s bad health is due to the disagreement between her current lifestyle choices and her values. Natalia argues with Father Ray, and at Towers, Olivia and Doris talk about difficulty coming out to the children. Olivia runs into Rafe and tells him that what he is doing to his mother is wrong. While working with Blake, Natalia feels sick again and Blake says that if she didn’t know better, she would think Natalia was pregnant.
06.26.09 Olivia and Natalia Plan the 4th of July
As Natalia heads out for her first day at her new job as Blake’s publishing assistant, Olivia and Natalia decide that today would be the day Olivia tells Emma. However, when Emma shows up from camp all out of sorts, Olivia is unable to go through with it. Blake puts two and two together and figures out that Natalia and Olivia are a couple. Olivia and Natalia decide that they will show up at the 4th of July celebration together, as a family.
06.22.09 We Are Not Waiting For Anything
Olivia, Natalia, and Emma light up the candles on Rafe’s birthday cake and make their wishes. Natalia gets a job offer from Blake to be her publishing assistant. Natalia joins Olivia and Emma in the park for Emma’s service project. While there, she keeps trying to reach Rafe and promises Olivia that she will sort it out soon. Olivia says that she doesn’t mind waiting, and Natalia then proclaims that she does. They both decide that they are not waiting for anything anymore.
06.19.09 Rafe’s Birthday
It is Rafe’s birthday and Frank encourages Rafe to go visit his mother. Natalia shops for baking supplies to make Rafe a birthday cake, while Matt tries to chat her up. Olivia asks Natalia if it would be ok for her and Emma to stop by later and drop off a gift for Rafe. Rafe comes by and him and Natalia have a nice conversation until she mentions Olivia. Olivia and Emma come to see Natalia and find her alone. Though Natalia is sad, she wants Olivia and Emma to stay and have a birthday cake with her.
06.18.09 I Choose You/Natalia Quits Her Job as Olivia’s Assistant
Rafe and Frank adjust to their new life as roommates. Natalia tries to find out about how Rafe is doing by calling Frank and gets a mouthful from Marina for taking advantage of her father. Father Ray runs into Olivia and implies that Olivia and Natalia may not be making clear choices and are mostly thrown together by the difficult circumstances. Later, Frank tells Natalia seems to be a different person and it’s confusing for Rafe and everyone. Father Ray and Rafe talk about Natalia. Natalia and Olivia talk and decide that Natalia shouldn’t work for Olivia anymore, they will prove to everyone that they are together because they want to be.
06.15.09 Rafe Confronts Natalia and Leaves Home
Rafe demands to know the truth about what’s going on with Olivia and Natalia, and Natalia finally realizes that he knows. Olivia and Emma leave to give Natalia and Rafe space. Rafe and Natalia have a painful discussion where Natalia admits that she is in love with Olivia and wants all of them to be a family. Rafe pleads with Natalia to let it all go, and when she says she won’t he gets enraged and leaves. Rafe asks Frank if he could stay with him for a while. Olivia laments to Doris about what happened with Rafe. She then comes back to see Natalia and Natalia admits that she doesn’t know what it all means for them.
06.12.09 The Sex Talk/Rafe Figures Out the Truth
Olivia and Natalia don’t realize that Rafe saw them and plan to have a big family dinner to celebrate Rafe’s new job. Rafe is confused and suspicious and he stops by at Olivia’s to talk to her. He only finds Emma and sees the New Year’s Eve family picture. Matt unsuccessfully tries to pick up Olivia. Back at the farmhouse, Rafe watches Olivia and Natalia be really close and finally confronts them.
06.11.09 Rafe Witnesses a Tender Moment Between Olivia and Natalia
Olivia is beyond embarrassed when she runs into Blake when checking out sex toys at a store. Natalia hangs out with Frank and Rafe at the bar and he finally relaxes around her. Blake and Olivia talk about love and sex and how holding out for the love of your life is worth it. Rafe tells Natalia that he got a job which makes her really happy. When Rafe goes for a run, Olivia shows up and tells Natalia that she doesn’t mind giving up other things to be with her. Olivia and Natalia talk and share a tender moment as a confused Rafe looks on from afar.
06.10.09 Olivia Kisses Josh
Olivia leaves Natalia a message about how much she enjoyed their time together baking cookies. Rafe frustrates Natalia with his careless attitude during the meeting with the parole officer. Rafe walks away from Natalia and she spends a day trying to find him. Olivia is feeling restless and when her car breaks down and Josh tries to help , Olivia can’t resist a kiss with her ex. Olivia apologizes to Josh and says she shouldn’t have done that and spends a day trying to find ways to deal with her sexual energy. Natalia has a few drinks with Frank and Rafe at the bar.
