Olivia goes for her regular check-up with Dr. Rick and he tells her that it’s obvious, she’s been drinking too much and should stop. Josh sees a drunken Olivia stumble down the Beacon hallway and flirts with her reminding that he is there if she is interested.

07.22.09 We Have A Plan. Okay? (Chicago)
Olivia is so focused on going to Chicago to find Natalia that she scares Emma. Deciding to let Jane take Emma, Olivia talks to one of Natalia’s former employers. After getting herself arrested Olivia calls Josh who comes to post her bail.
07.21.09 Give Me The Chips
Olivia continues to struggle with Natalia’s absence. Recognizing that she’s losing control she refers to Josh as a good friend who keeps her out of trouble. Blake finds her sitting on the bathroom floor eating potato chips. Later she gives Remy Natalia’s social security number and asks that he find any information he can to help her find Natalia.
07.20.09 I Think You Can Cheer Me Up
After drinking to help her cope with everything that seems to be crashing down on her, Olivia forgets to pick Emma up from camp. Christina takes care of Emma. Olivia and Josh share a drink at Farley’s and they talk.
07.17.09 I Miss Natalia Too
Olivia is so upset that she snaps at Emma while they’re getting her ready in the morning. When she apologizes Emma points out that she understands and that she missing Natalia too. She receives a call from Josh saying that Jeffrey has died. She spends some time with Dinah and Shayne remembering Jeffrey and then calls Ava to break the news.
07.02.09 The Fourth of July Part 1
Natalia tries to cope with the news. Olivia and Emma go to the Bauer BBQ and have a family moment with Phillip. Natalia continues to seek guidance while Olivia waits for her at the BBQ.
06.10.09 Olivia Kisses Josh
Olivia leaves Natalia a message about how much she enjoyed their time together baking cookies. Rafe frustrates Natalia with his careless attitude during the meeting with the parole officer. Rafe walks away from Natalia and she spends a day trying to find him. Olivia is feeling restless and when her car breaks down and Josh tries to help , Olivia can’t resist a kiss with her ex. Olivia apologizes to Josh and says she shouldn’t have done that and spends a day trying to find ways to deal with her sexual energy. Natalia has a few drinks with Frank and Rafe at the bar.
06.09.09 Baking Cookies
Natalia is having a hard time to get Rafe motivated to do anything and he bails on her when she asks him to help her bake cookies for the church. Olivia runs into Josh at Company and he flirts with her without much success. Olivia and Emma show up to help Natalia bake. All three are surprised and happy when Rafe comes by and stays for a bit. Frank and Rafe spend time together.
05.22.09 – Olivia Requests A Favor; Toast to Edmund
Olivia asks Jeffrey for a favor regarding Rafe. Jeffrey agrees to speak at Rafe’s hearing. Reva learns that Olivia was the one who saw her in the park with Edmund shortly before his death. Reva points out to Olivia that she didn’t see Reva do anything but argue with Edmund. Reva and Jeffrey, with Colin, head to the picnic with Olivia. The group makes a toast and addresses what Edmund did to each of them.

03.04.09 Olivia Almost Confesses, A Game of Pool
Olivia comforts Natalia who is afraid that God hates her for being a hypocrite. Olivia admits that she hasn’t been honest with Natalia and almost professes her feelings when they are interrupted by Jeffrey. Josh stops by shortly after and Natalia suggests that they all go out to play pool. After Natalia surprises everyone with her pool skills, Olivia tries to start their earlier conversation again but can’t because Emma arrives excited that Phillip is back in town.
